Shipping Rates
Cheesecakes are shipped using dry ice or gel paks.  Standard Shipping rate is $24.00.

Delivery Dates
Cheesecakes are a perishable item and for this reason we only ship Monday through Wednesday (with Holiday restrictions).  We ship within 4 days of receiving your order.  Standard shipping is 2-day service.


PLEASE NOTE--For some areas, although we ship with 2-day service, your cake may arrive in one business day from the ship date.   We do not take responsibility for cakes that arrive one day early. We recommend that you check with your recipient to ensure that they will be available to receive the cake on the delivery date (ie-not on vacation or out-of-town).  This is especially important during the holidays.  Also, be sure you have the correct address.  We do not take responsibility for cakes that are delivered to incorrect addresses or for cakes delivered to recipients out of town.  

Tracking
After you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation. When the cake is shipped, you will receive order tracking information. You can use this information to track when your package is shipped and when it will arrive. Residential deliveries may arrive as late as 8pm.  There is no signature release required on our deliveries.


Handling Instructions
All of our cheesecakes are shipped frozen in foam containers.  Cakes will ship with ice paks or dry ice. As long as the cake arrives cold it is perfect for eating even if there is no dry ice remaining in the package. For cakes shipped with dry ice, be sure not to handle the remaining dry ice with bare hands. Do not place the ice directly in your sink. It's best to let it dissipate in the cooler away from children and pets. Our cheesecakes should be removed from their foam containers upon arrival. At this point, you may consume, refrigerate, or refreeze.  Our cakes will last up to seven days in the refrigerator or up to six months in the freezer.  Cakes can be refrozen.


Serving Suggestions
Cheesecakes should be served cold.  If frozen, leave cake overnight in the refrigerator or defrost at room temperature for 2 hours before serving.  Use a warm knife (dip in hot water) to cut the cheesecake. A chef's knife or cake knife works best. Wipe the knife with a damp towel in between each slice to ensure a smooth cut.  6 inch cakes serve up to 6 people and 9 inch cakes serve up to 10 people.  ENJOY!
